Following the October 10 2025 publication of 48 CFR, all defense contracts awarded after 10 November 2025 were required to meet the applicable CMMC levels to conduct business with the Department of War. CS5 East convened defense contractors and the CMMC assessor and consulting community from across the nation to discuss, debate, and collaborate on compliance and readiness strategies.
