Tom Bendien, CEO of GT Edge AI, brings over 30 years of global enterprise IT and Cloud expertise from companies like AOL, Cisco, and IBM. In 2023, he founded GT Edge AI, a managed services firm specializing in private AI solutions with a focus on data privacy and safety.

Passionate about technology, Bendien is a sought-after speaker and community leader, organizing tech events and advocating for AI Literacy with school systems. He actively supports cybersecurity education and connects technology professionals through the Northern Virginia Cyber & AI Meetup.

Jim Routh

Advisor

Jim Routh is an advisor to GT Edge AI, bringing his transformational expertise as a distinguished security leader. Throughout his career as a CISO, board member, educator and investor, Routh has specialized in applying risk management discipline for global enterprises. He has built a renowned track record of designing innovative security controls powered by data science to achieve enterprise resilience. Currently advising GT Edge AI on the deployment of AI solutions with enterprise best practices in mind, Routh excels at aligning senior executives around world-class security capabilities that drive positive business outcomes. James Barogh

AI Solution Specialist | Education & CMMC

James Barogh is an undergraduate student studying Cybersecurity Management and Analytics at Virginia Tech. He holds an A.S. in Information Technology from Northern Virginia Community College. Dedicated to national security, James is a CMMC Registered Practitioner & National Military Intelligence Foundation Scholar, where he supports secure AI systems for the Defense Industrial Base. Alongside serving the DIB, he collaborates with educational institutions to upskill learners and oversees AI Capture The Flag competitions.

David Simpson

Lead AI Architect

David is the Lead GT AI Architect who combines creative writing, communications expertise, and advanced prompt engineering skills to develop innovative AI assistants. With a background in XYZ from ABC, he specializes in creating AI solutions that help customers and partners unlock transformative use cases. David views AI solution development as a nuanced blend of science and art, and is passionate about promoting AI literacy within the community by running workshops at Cyber conferences. His technical prowess extends to cybersecurity, where he has excelled in Capture The Flag (CTF) competitions by strategically leveraging AI tools and techniques.

Chris Tuthill

Chris leads the GT Customer Success team, bringing extensive experience from industry-leading technology companies like VMware, Blackstone, OVH Cloud, and QTS Data Centers. His team ensures customer desired outcomes are understood and implemented swiftly and effectively. Drawing on his diverse enterprise IT professional background, he effectively guides customers through their AI transformation journeys.
